Steve Blanchard believes in the philosophy of a strong community and has been a resident of Coventry for 27 years with his wife and high school sweetheart Julie. His family life is paramount to him and spends much of his free time enjoying his four wonderful children. Steve is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hiking, upland dog training, bird hunting, and just about anything to enjoy the wonder of Vermont's North East Kingdom.
Steve is a member of the Hartford Home Builder’s Association, served on the strategic planning board of the Eastern Highlands Health District, been bestowed the honor to be a guest speaker on entrepreneurship at several area Universities, High Schools and Civic Events, served as a consultant with an expertise in residential construction to Webster Bank, was instrumental in the design, restoration, and adaptive reuse of the Nathan Hale Barns, served on the Woodbridge Farmstead committee, and has proudly served on non-profit Board of Directors including Connecticut Landmarks as Vice Chair and the former Channel Three Kids Camp in the capacity as Board President.
